GST Completes Third Phase of Orange County Transit Authority Project
GeoSpatial Technologies developed bus stop management tools for OCTA
Orange County, CA (August, 2004) -
GeoSpatial Technologies announces the completion of Phase III on a multi-faceted project for the Orange County Transit Authority (OCTA.)
GST completed the development and implementation of the GIS-based Bus Stop Management Module. The module is designed to assist OCTA staff to effectively manage daily tasks associated with bus stops.
The previous phases of this project provided OCTA staff with user-friendly tools to create and edit bus stop locations. The latest phase added enhanced features and powerful management tools to streamline the operations related to bus stop work orders.
Since 1998, GST has been serving as GIS consultant to OCTA, which operates more than 400 buses in Orange County, and has developed a variety of GIS-based routing applications and bus stop management tools.
