Anaheim Fire Department to Use GST Software on Handsets and GST's Vehicle Tracking Technologies
Anaheim, CA (March, 2005) -
GeoSpatial Technologies, Inc. (GST) will be providing the Anaheim Fire Department a tracking system that will track both handsets and vehicles.
In the first phase of the project, GST will customize GST's tracking software application to be loaded into Anaheim Fire Department's Nextel handsets. GST's AVL Server will receive GPS data from any handset in service, and display it on GST Mapper with a special icon.
In the second phase, the Anaheim Fire Department will expand the tracking system to include vehicle tracking using GST Tracker. The tracking of vehicles will be integrated with the tracking for handsets and be displayed on GST Mapper.
