GST SMARTID® integrates with Real-time FEFP State/Medicaid reporting and provides Interoperability with Emergency Service for School Transportation

Santa Ana, CA (February, 2006) — GST has launched the newest integral product of its School Transportation Safety Suite, GST SMARTID®. The School District of Palm Beach in Florida was the first GST client to install the product and has since enjoyed the tremendous benefits of efficiency and cost-saving the system provides. GST SMARTID® generates accurate daily reports of Ridership/Passenger, Trip & Mileage, Early/Late Arrival, Exception Reports and Two way Text messaging, all sorted by Bus#. "GST has demonstrated its innovative capabilities again, by integrating GST SMARTID® with FEFP Survey Reports and Medicaid Reports; the automatically-generated reports enable School Administrators to derive with ease, an accurate student count for State reimbursement and an accurate event count for Medicaid reimbursement. In addition, the system has the interoperability features that can be incorporated with the CAD system from other agencies, like emergency services, Sheriff/Police, Fire, Public Works, etc, thus levates the safety of students to a much higher degree in times of emergency situation."
