GST demonstrates Interoperability Solution at IACP Conference
Santa Ana, CA (October, 2006) —
GeoSpatial Technologies, Inc. (GST) joined Sprint Nextel in setting up live demonstrations of GST's Interoperability tracking solutions at the 113th Annual Internal Association of Chiefs of Police (IAPC) Conference in Boston, MA.
IACP is the world's oldest and largest nonprofit membership organization of police executives, with over 19,000 members in over 100 countries. More than 14,000 executives and professionals from law-enforcement and public safety agencies attended this year's event. The conference and exposition enable attendees to participate in a rich array of well-organized professional seminars, discussion forums and technical workshops, featuring critical issues relevant to current events and most difficult tasks that today's law enforcement professional face.
"The Data Interoperability solutions that GST demonstrated at the conference were very well received by the law enforcement professionals who attended the conference", says John Lim, CEO of GST, "GST's interoperability solutions fill in and connect the missing link among the current technology offerings of mobile assets tracking in the Public Safety industries. In an emergency situation when efforts of multiple agencies require the highest level of collaboration, GST's solutions create a Common Operation Picture for dispatchers of multi-agencies to view locations of their mobile assets both at Dispatch center and on Mobile Data Computers (MDC), which in turn becomes a critical tool for any command center to make sound judgments effectively and efficiently in response to the arising situation."
