GST's Patent-pending Technology of Airport Customer Support Dispatch System to be implemented at Oakland Airport, CA

Santa Ana, CA (February, 2007) — GST's latest wireless dispatch technology, the Airport Customer Support Dispatch System, will be implemented by DAL Global Services (DGS), a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines, Inc., at Oakland Airport, CA in February, 2007. GST developed this system through a project sponsored by DGS, and the two companies have jointly filed applications for both US and international patents. DGS has been installing this system and marketing it under the trademark of PAXTrack™. This leading-edge dispatch and communication system is designed specifically for airport service providers to optimize passenger services based on real-time wireless communications among supervisors, dispatchers, and agents.

The system incorporates the latest technologies in Database Management System, Geographic Information System, Mobile Device, and Wireless Communication to keeps track of passengers that require special services, the agents available at different locations of the airport, the gates where passengers arrive and depart, the type of service needed for each passenger, the requested services that have been provided, and the services that still need to be provided. Each agent carries a handset with wireless communication capability to communicate with the dispatcher in real time, and a barcode scanner to scan passengers' tickets and labels placed at different locations throughout the terminal. With PAXTrack™, the dispatcher and supervisor will be able to display the map of each terminal on the computer screen, visualize the distribution of demands and resources throughout the airport, and assign available agents to provide services in the most efficient manner. With the implementation of PAXTrack™, DGS will take the advantage of GST's latest technology to offer the best passenger support services at Oakland Airport.
