The GST Mobile Data Terminal (MDT) is one of the key components for the GST SmartID Solution. It is designed for the in-vehicle environment, providing two-way messaging capabilities for Fleet Management Solutions. The GST MDT have been designed for the extreme temperature range and jolts that a unit operating within a vehicle must endure. It provides four serial ports for connecting peripherals such as GPS, and data-logger as well as automatic data entry capabilities such as magnetic tag, bar-code and RFID reader.
