 GST MULTI-AGENCY/MULTI-DEPARTMENT INTEROPERABILITY SOLUTIONS
GST offers a complete array of solutions for nationwide mobile asset tracking that can be tailored with ease according to the specific needs of individual client. The GST Solutions include modules that have open API, which can be integrated with commercial data communication protocols as well as with major CAD system, allowing operations among multi-department and multi-agency to become interoperable. Features of GST solutions include displaying locations of GPS equipped devices, finding nearest device to a user specified address, generating routes from any mobile device location to CAD incidents and E911 events on the dispatch workstations and MDCs, and displaying other agencies' mobile assets with interoperability functions. Among them all, GST Solutions make it possible for all users to share a COMMON OPERATING PICTURE both on dispatch workstations and MDCs.
GST Interoperability Solution offers clients flexibility to choose from the following options, according to the size of their operation scale:

GST supports common GIS map data with unlimited number of layers that clients provide. GST also provides NAVTEQ map data, which have multiple spatial data layers to meet the client's map data requirement. |
| DEVICE OPTION |
Asset monitoring can be accomplished using GPS-enabled handsets, PDAs, vehicle hard-mount devices, or any combination thereof. |
| CLIENT-SERVER OPTION |
Client sets up and hosts the Tracking Server at its own facilities. All of the data communication is controlled from behind the client's fire-wall, thus ensuring the highest level of data security.
